10:10 pm - Umineko no Naku Koro ni episode 5: End of the golden witch - PART VI
Locked room mystery time!

Can you solve the locked room (argue for Natsuhi and Beatrice)?
Don't let Erika win.
(Of course, if you've already seen or read the answer, that doesn't count)

All clues you need to solve the locked room are given below. If it's not mentioned, it has no impact on the mystery.

But there is one thing that has been described in one of the prior games and/or it is apparent to the people within the game. Kinzo's study room is not a standard room. It is further segmented into a library, study room, bedroom, and bathroom at least. You can say that the whole room is a little house within the house.

This is PART VI.
I suck at attempting to write polite-speak. I'm sorry.

Erika feels the stake embedded in her body, unruffled by the object. She calmly summons the Witch Hunter Archbishop Dlanor.

"A pleasure to meet you. I am called Dlanor A. Knox."

There are 600 pages of detailed information concerning Miss Beatrice collected in Eiserne Jungfrau. Beatrice and Dlanor both have heard of each other, so no further introduction is needed.

Dlanor promises no escape from the room now that she is here. Not even witches.

Eva claims that she can confirm that Kinzo didn't leave the room during the night.

Gertrude, one of Dlanor's subordinates, appears.
Kinzo couldn't have because she sealed the door by orders. Siesta 410 and 45 also show up.

"Ladies and gentlemen, may I repeat. May I offer to repeat that from 23 o'clock last night to now, the door of the study room was not even opened once."

Eva shows Natsuhi the receipt that she stuck in the crack of the study room's door right after Natsuhi exited. The paper had stayed there until Rudolf opened the door for everyone, which means that Kinzo never opened the door between 23 o'clock last night and now.

Kyrie checked all of the windows and found that none could've been locked from the outside.

Cornelia appears.
"Ladies and gentlemen. May I humbly say this! Let it be known that all of the windows were locked! The squad sealed all of the windows."

Beatrice laughs and welcomes all of the guests.
The room has been secured and Beatrice cannot exit via the window or the door anymore. She is truly trapped in the room.

Beatrice creates a dark warp portal not unlike what Gaap makes, saying that she and Kinzo can escape through it anytime.

In the human world, it translates to Natsuhi offering the explanation that, as the Master of the house, Kinzo probably devised ways to go outside without passing through the door, like via a hidden door.

The servants immediately agree with Natsuhi. Since hidden doors or secret passages are meant to stay concealed and the servants never found any, by Devil's Proof, they cannot deny the possibility that such implementations exist.

"No proof is needed!! I have the Devil's Proof, so you cannot deny that the existence of hidden doors cannot be discovered!! Therefore, no one can deny the possibility that Kinzo escaped from this study room through a hidden door!!"

Dlanor shatters Beatrice's blue text with a red sword.

"Hidden doors are not allowed to exist in this room."

The warp portal begins to break down.
Beatrice is shocked to see that Dlanor can wield the red truth despite not being a gamemaster.

"It's because it's a mystery. Rule 3 of Knox. The existence of secret passages is prohibited. Hidden doors and such must not exist in mysteries. No hard feelings."

Erika politely asks Beatrice to give up the fight, then dares her to explain how Kinzo managed to escape from the room.

"There is the possibility that after Kinzo slipped out the door, he noticed the receipt gimmick and accurately restored it to its original place."

"It has already been completely denied in red. The door of the study room was not even opened once after 23 o'clock."

"Kinzo might be a rare magus and inventor?! He might have invented a drug that turns his body into fog and slipped out through the keyhole!!"

"Such drugs do not exist. They cannot exist."

"Or he might have invented a teleporter?! That possibility, by Devil's Proof, cannot be denied!!"

"Such machinery do not exist. They are not allowed to exist."

"Hoh, can you research all of the drugs in this world? Can you deny the existence of unknown scientific apparati?! By no means you can, so that is the Devil's Proof! You cannot deny their existence!"

"I repeat. In the name of God, such drugs and machinery are not allowed to exist. For all eternity, He will not allow their existence."

Erika reminds Beatrice of Rule 4 of Knox.
According to Dlanor, the future knowledge and abilities of mankind are determined by God, and He has declared what things can't ever exist.

For every blue truth Beatrice threw out Dlanor countered with red truth and landed a blow on Beatrice. The battle of red vs. blue is taking its toll on Beatrice and it shows.
However, Dlanor remains the exact same as before, just as if she is a ball-jointed doll carved from marble. She does not tire, she does not feel pain, she does not know fear.

Beatrice refreshes her mind and mounts a new round of attacks.

"Natsuhi is claiming that she "talked in Kinzo's study room", but she has not said that she talked with him in person. That is to say, even if Kinzo was at a place other than the study room, there would be no conflict in holding a conversation!"

The blue truth works and Asmodeus impales Dlanor's foot.

"In this study room, Natsuhi used an internal telephone line and conversed with Kinzo, who was elsewhere! Even if Kinzo, who despises his relatives, foresaw that the study room would be intruded upon and took refuge elsewhere, it would not be strange at all. Perhaps, his hiding place might be Kuwadorian!"

"Going further, prepare yourself. There is the possibility that the Kinzo who Natsuhi speaks of does not refer Kinzo himself! The Kinzo who Natsuhi speaks of might be a nickname for this room? Kinzo is taking refuge in Kuwadorian, so he cannot be contacted. By calling this room "Father" and meditating in this room, Natsuhi might have thought that she would receive a revelation from Kinzo!!"

Beelzebub impales Dlanor's neck.

"If you say that escape is impossible due to the locked room, then you cannot deny the possibility that he is still hiding in this room. No hidden doors, but how about under the bed or in the loft?! He might be indeed hiding in a plain blind spot that not even demons will know of?!"

"Or, especially ordered by Kinzo to represent him, Natsuhi might have felt that she is another Kinzo while simultaneously being his representative! In short, it is the possibility that Natsuhi was simultaneously Kinzo!"

"But there's more!! Kinzo escaped through the window at 23 o'clock last night! And Natsuhi watched him go and locked the window!! There are no problems with this. No, isn't it almost the most beautiful blue truth? How's that?! Dlanor A. Knox?! Hyahhahhahhaaaaaaaa!! There are plenty of methods to escape from this locked room!!"

Satan, Belphegor, and Mammon gouge through Dlanor's chest, abdomen, and thigh. Dlanor is now skewered by five wedges, but her expression remains unchanged.

Natsuhi thanks Beatrice for her work, thinking that she has given everyone else adequate explanations for her talking to Kinzo and Kinzo's disappearance.

With a sinister grin, Erika asks Natsuhi if she really did talk to Kinzo last night in this room, and if the Kinzo Natsuhi spoke of is the same man they all recognize, not someone or something else with the same name.
Natsuhi answers yes to both questions.

Well then, repeat after me, Erika coos.
Natsuhi does. "I, Ushiromiya Natsuhi, at 23 o'clock last night in this room, definitely conversed with Ushiromiya Kinzo in the same room."

Good! Final question, did you let Kinzo out through the window and locked it afterwards?
...Why would I ever do that?! There's a limit to things!

"Ladies and gentlemen, may I humbly say this. May I humbly say that the "Kinzo" whom Natsuhi refers to does not mean anyone besides Ushiromiya Kinzo."

"Ladies and gentlemen, may I humbly offer to say this! Let it be that Natsuhi claims that she was with Kinzo in person in the study room at 23 o'clock!"

Natsuhi realizes that she fell for Erika's words and gives a scream, but it's already too late...

The blue truths of "indirect conversation", "calling the room Kinzo", "calling herself Kinzo", "escaping through the window" in Dlanor's foot, neck, abdomen, thigh, shatter.
Natsuhi herself has destroyed four of the five options Beatrice gave. Only one remains:

Postulating that Kinzo is hiding somewhere in this room.

If the last wedge and explanation are destroyed, it would be the end for Beatrice and Natsuhi.

Dlanor would like to hear where Kinzo is hiding.

"Hmhm, I wonder... He might be under the bed?!"
"Search was complete."

"He might be in the bathtub!!"
"Search was complete."

"In the closet! Under the desk! Inside the tied curtains!!"
"Search was complete. Was complete. Was complete."

"Behind the bookcase, behind the cabinet, under the rug, under the floor, in the loft, under the wallpaper, in the chair in the sofa, in the wall under the comforter in the bed, in a stone, in a rock, in the room!!"

"Was complete was complete was complete. Was was was complete complete complete, was was was was was was was was complete complete complete complete complete complete complete complete, Die The death! Sentence to death! Great equalizer is The Death!!"

Kinzo isn't in the study room, which was a locked room, so the only possibility left is that Natsuhi lied about having met Kinzo the previous night.

The warp portal, the way out of the room, is destroyed.

As the final blue wedge in Dlanor crumbles away, Erika declares checkmate on Beatrice.
She giggles, "...Ahahahaha, ahhahhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! How is it? Just by having this room here and no more! I can only deduce so much. How's that, everyone?! Ahhahahahahhahhahhaaa!!"
